Avenqo PEP Version 1.6 offers an extensive and configurable set of functionalities, which enables you to implement your individual development processes with this tool. You can use Avenqo PEP to manage all artefacts used or created in a complex project. The following detailed representation of the features of Avenqo PEP shall provide a first impression regarding different functionalities.

User and project administration

Cross-project administration Avenqo PEP creates unique user accounts in a repository that can be used for several projects. Therefore you need to create user accounts only once. For each of the created user accounts you can assign individual permissions regarding a specific project.

Roles and permissions Adaptable and project-related roles reduce the effort for multi project management and allow an assignment of certain adequate permissions. A classification of users in different groups enables you to organise the different stakeholders and their different access rights. You can assign detailed permissions at different levels, f.e. for Info Types, Attribute Types or single attribute values.

Baseline

Baseline Baselines are an important component in the development process. It documents the present project state including all the content. You can compare baselines to make clear changes and progress which originates in the course of a project. Baselines can be provided at any time. The function is useful if you want to: Archive a project state Find information from earlier project states Retain an entire project – both content and history

Offline

Offline The Offline function in Avenqo PEP belongs to an other functional unity. The mode allows to you to work on projects, without you must be connected with the server. So you can work on your projects, when you are on the way or at home. With Offline projects its possible to work in the project data everywhere, so as to lead them in the project back at a later time. Collaboration

Taskmanagement A clear Task Management is essential for a frictionless process of a project. With Avenqo PEP you have the possibility to distribute tasks faster and more traceable. Thereby, projects are organised and structured. Through a clear structure of the task browser you recognise immediately, when and from whom a new task was distributed.

E-Mail-based Discussions With Avenqo PEP you can moderate group discussions. With discussions the team is able to unwind a quick and for all clear communication, when questions and lack of understanding come out. But even if teams are separated from each other locally, discussions offer an adaptable possibility to move projects without bigger waiting periods as quickly as possible. Thereby the cooperation in the team is promoted constantly and it comes necessarily to an improved communication between all project stakeholders.

Usability

	Project Templates With project templates you can start a new project easier. Avenqo PEP offers different templates which make usable project structures available immediately. Or you provide your own templates for your projects, which you can reuse every time.
	Stakeholder-specific views he amount of existing information can become vast in complicated projects for the single user. That's why Avenqo PEP offers different views, so that the user gains targeted and filtered information, which are relevant for them. Attribute View Matrix View Trace-In bzw. Trace-Out View
	Forbidden Words "Bad words" (Forbidden Word) can lead to mistakes or misunderstandings inside of the team. In Avenqo PEP you can define such words or terms. If a forbidden word is used, the regarding text is highlighted in colour.
	Search-Function The search function in Avenqo PEP guarantees a quick search of information, like Requirements, Test Cases or Bugs.

Entering requirements

	Entering requirements manually Documents and files can be simply integrated in Avenqo PEP. The following formats can be managed by Avenqo PEP: PDF Pictures (JPG, GIF, ...) MS-Office Documents
	Importing requirements from external sources You can save a lot of time when importing requirements from i.e. MS-Office documents. Define the characteristics by which one a requirement is recognized (f.e. templates), and import these information to Avenqo PEP.

Requirements Traceability

	Classifikation of Traces In Avenqo PEP you can classify traces to distinguish single kinds of traces (for example: verrified by, derived from etc.).
	Continuous Traceability With Avenqo PEP you can organise the complete traceability in your project: from the vision documents across specifications to test cases and their protocols, as well as defect messages. Therefore, Avenqo PEP provides different possibilities for a visual representation of relations between several infos.

Test Management

	Definition of Test Cases A requirement becomes complete only, if it is complemented by acceptance criterias. Write test cases for your requirements, which are contained in test suites including precondition, activities and checkpoints. Or link test cases with automated testscripts. So you ensure the repeatability of tests and with it the continuous quality assessment by regression testing.
	Tests and Test Protocols With Avenqo PEP you are able to assemble individual tests according to the defined requirements and derived test cases. For instance, an acceptance test can require different test runs than a load test! A running test is recorded in detail. These protocols are adapted individually and can be saved in different file formats, exactly like all reports.

Reports

Reporting In order to manage projects successfully and react to events fast and adequately you need a permanent transparency regarding all existing project artefacts. Because a lot can happen in your project within one day.... With reports no information becomes lost or hided. Every project member can create and use reports at any time for getting the required information. All reports may be created or adpated extremely flexible for your individual needs (e.g. coporate design). Generated reports can be saved in different formats (PDF, HTML...).
