No, Avenqo PEP is not Open Source.

G2: How much does Avenqo PEP cost?
The current available Avenqo PEP Community Edition is and remains cost-free for our users.  

G3: Which support can I expect for Avenqo PEP?
The development of Avenqo PEP started 4 years ago. In iterations of about 3 - 6 months new versions of Avenqo PEP are released at which new ideas of our users are implemented or bugs are removed. The frequent release cycles make it possible to react fast and flexible on customer ideas and requests - quality criterias which marks Avenqo as a company!
Of course, we offer specific adaptations in context of our services on concrete customer environments or the realization of customer requirements.

G4: Since when is the tool available in the market?
The first release of Avenqo PEP was published in 2008.

T1: Is there a web interface for Avenqo PEP?
No, to be able to provide our customers with a high degree of functionality, we have consciously decided to relinguish the implementation of a web interface.
The advantage of a web front-end is the very easy deployment to workstations. We are offering this advatage too, because Avenqo PEP does not have to be installed. It can be provided and maintained on a server as a file centrally. 

 T2: What is the initial account / password for the sample database?
Username: Admin
Password: admin

T3: How can I get a license for Avenqo PEP?
You have to select the menu item "Request license" from the Help menu.
